The Masarang Foundation During their school Health Week, JCSRS has held several fundraising events to support the Masarang Foundation. As part of their Health Week, all students participated in a sponsored Walkathon around Perth Street Sports Ground. The adults also modeled action by bringing their unwanted goods from home to contribute to a Garage Sale.
A special assembly was organised by two students from KGV who had recently spent their Creativity, Action and Service (CAS) week at the Masarang Animal Rescue Centre in Tasikoki, North Sulawesi. The students shared with us their experiences and highlighted the need to support this organization.
After this assembly, students from our Secondary classes initiated a bake sale to raise more funds. We are very proud to be able to present Masarang HK with a cheque for $20,370 (received by Chris Durbin ESF Secondary Development Adviser)
